Dr. Ronald BordessaDr. Bordessa’s contributions as UOIT president from July 2006 to June 2011 are numerous. Dr. Bordessa ensured UOIT remained a catalyst in driving social and economic prosperity throughout Durham Region and beyond. The relocation of the faculties of Education and Social Science and Humanities to downtown Oshawa, and the establishment of the General Motors of Canada Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) and the Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre, are just a few milestones that will mark his UOIT legacy.
